Model Making

For my building and painting services, I charge a flat rate of $25 per hour. I will give an estimate on a particular project that I promise to stay within a few hours of. The total cost will vary depending on the subject, the material that the original model is made of and any special requests that you might have (like adding a base). As an average, a simple vinyl kit (like the Kaiyodo '64 Godzilla) would take around 4 hours to build and paint (this does not include a base). Obviously, each project would have to dealt with on an individual basis.

 

Flash

Flash work costs a bit more. My standard rate is $50 per hour. The examples on the Flash page all cost between $400 - $800. This can actually be a cost savings for someone wanting to inform a large number of people about a certain product or event; it could end up being much more expensive to design, print and mail out hundreds of direct mail items. There has also been a larger rate of return for Flash advertisements.
